TikTok Beauty Trends
Even the least tech-savvy beauty lover in your life will have had a few TikTok videos cross their path in the past year. The platform has the kind of selling power brands could once only dream of (and customers could only see in their makeup nightmares when favourite products are out of stock for months on end).
After my recent deep dive into the browny berry lip colour world, inspired by the resurgence of Clinique Black Honey, I wanted to explore other viral beauty products. I’ve put together my personal ‘Best of TikTok Beauty’ list, sharing ten long-time and recent favourites in my routine that have taken off on the app.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil, Cottage Cheese
I discovered these jumbo shadow sticks through French makeup artist Violette_FR’s channel, swiping Rust and Bronze over my eyes regularly since 2017, and using Cottage Cheese as a bright inner corner highlight.
THE BLUSH
EM Cosmetics So Soft Blush, Venetian Rose
These blush sticks very quickly jumped ahead of my much-loved EM Cosmetics Serum Blushes. The mousse-like texture makes these so easy to blend and blur despite the strong colour, delivering a skin-like subtle glow.
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Dewy Liquid Blush, Joy
Unlike the blush above, you won’t find subtle in the same sentence as these bottles! To achieve a true ‘Soft Pinch’, scrape off all of the excess and stick to 1-2 doefoot dots on each cheek for a healthy flush with a dewy finish.

Clinique Almost Lipstick, Black Honey
This fifty-year-old sheer lipstick and TikTok star is showing no sign of being back in stock anytime soon. A sheer, soft shine, balmy dark blackberry that deepens your natural lip colour in sophisticated style.
Dior Lip Glow Oil, 012 Rosewood
I’d curl up and take a nap on this big cosy doefoot if I could. The Dior Lip Glow Oils are one of my favourite formulas on the market because they walk the line between an oil and a gloss with glamorous shine and sheer colour.
Billie Eilish brought millions of eyes to this Kopari tube when she used it in an Instagram live. The clear, comfortable, cushiony texture leaves a great layer of non-sticky shine over matte lip looks, with a sweet coconut scent.
