Rose Favourites

I’ve always loved flowers and fresh smells from a garden, whether it’s the brightest apricot rose blooming over a fence, a crisp green geranium leaf, or heavy white florals like gardenia or freesia floating through the air.

It’ll come as no surprise to regular viewers that rose is a common scent across the products in my skincare and perfume pile, but forget any artificial, sickly sweet scents (sometimes sprayed onto petals by florists). My favourites are lighter and more delicate, like rosewater or a pastel garden rose.

You’ll find a bouquet of floral notes in my new Perfume Collection video, including my long-time favourite fragrance, Jo Malone Red Roses, so I thought I’d expand on the theme and share more of my rosy favourites in different product categories.

Do you reach for floral fragrances or prefer something fruity, woody or spicy?
