The Black Honey Hype
You don’t need to be on TikTok to have noticed the hype around Clinique’s *Black Honey Almost Lipstick lately. This 32-year-old, much loved lip product is suddenly having a breakout year on the back of its popularity on the app, and stock has flown off the shelves in stores around the world.
I discovered this cult favourite through YouTube several years ago when viewers repeatedly recommended it, and I instantly saw the appeal of this balmy, glowy, sheer deep berry. It’s a perfect pick for minimal makeup lovers, like a no-lipstick lipstick that deepens your natural lip colour and feels barely there.
There are a wide range of dupe ideas online so I put seven of the most popular suggestions to the test in my video with some surprising results, and also suggested a range of my personal favourite sheer formulas and colours that fit into a Black Honey theme.
