It’s difficult to sum up Lisa Eldridge’s legacy in one blog post. She’s the beloved British makeup artist known for countless magazine covers and editorials, red carpet work with the likes of Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet and Alexa Chung, and product development for several major makeup brands.
She is also, quite simply, the reason I love makeup. Lisa was a very early adopter of YouTube and her tutorials let us watch her work her magic in fine detail. Her approach played a key role in shaping my entire appreciation for natural, fresh-faced makeup.
In late 2018, Lisa granted the wishes of beauty lovers around the world and launched her own brand. Beginning with three red velvet matte lipsticks, she’s since launched summer pinks, beautiful berries and browns, nourishing glosses, smooth lip liners, and a new Seamless Skin collection of cream blushes and highlighters in July 2021.
